Congratulations on your engagement, Amy & Taukiri!
These two beautiful humans spend their working lives helping others as a nurse and traffic accident responder. If anything ever happened to me, I would want no one else but them around to make it all good again. That's what I thought after we first me them for coffees and wedding photography chats last year. They are an absolute joy to have around, caring, cheerful and embracing life as it is. We are lucky to work with sweet people like these. Amy & Taukiri had booked our Sapphire package, so their engagement session was included for free. It was a wonderful afternoon out and we all enjoyed spending time together and getting to know each other.
I had a bit of time before their session, so I went to the flower markets and made a little wreath for Amy. Amy's wreath features white and burgundy chrysanthemums and tree leaves from around Tallebudgera Valley where we had our session. I love the way it looks in the photos, especially the ones where they are sitting in the grass.
We had a chat before their session about things to bring to make it more fun. Amy brought confetti! So we threw a bit of that around for some photos. Below are two sun-kissed photos of Amy & Taukiri. One with and one without confetti. These are proof that everything looks better with confetti.
The confetti looked so good that we cheekily asked Amy to take a photo of us with it, too! We never get photos of ourselves, so our own confetti-kiss shot will definitely go up on our wall as a print. THANKS, AMY!
Their photos are now all edited, copied onto their USB stick (they opted for maple) and sent out together with some mounted prints of their best shots. It's always nice to hold something in your hands once your photo treasures arrive.
We can't wait for their wedding in April. Coming around so soon!
